Unstoppable in our Purpose Lesson # 7

“ No excuses! ”

 

Intro: What is the greatest excuse you ever gave when you were a child to get out of doing your homework or chores in your house?

 

Study

  1. Psalms 139:13-16, Gal 5:7-8 God has created everyone of us with specific gifts, talents and abilities and has a divine purpose he wants us to fulfill here on the earth.
    1. Prov 18:21 Many Christians know God has called them to do great things but they are stopped from advancing because they give in to pessimism, negativity, and excuses.
      1. Gal 6:9 If we are going to become the leaders God has called us to be and fulfill Gods purpose for our lives then we must overcome every negative thought, press beyond everything that tries to stop us and conquer every excuse!
      2. Eph 6:12, 2 Cor 10:3-5 We must remember that we are in a spiritual battle and the devil will throw everything at us he can to try and stop us from discovering and completing the purpose that God has for our lives.
    2. 1 Peter 5:8-9 For many people the devil will try to stop them with secret sins, addictions, or wrong relationships, however for others the devil will try and stop them simply by using negativity, pessimism, and excuses!
  2. Phil 3:13-14 , Rom 8:37 When we begin to discover Gods purpose for our lives, and make a commitment to lead in any capacity, then we must be determined to overcome whatever the devil will throw at us, we must have the mindset to never quit, we need to be unstoppable!
    1. Heb 12:1-2 It doesn’t really matter what the devil will try to use to stop us, because when we fix our eyes on Jesus he will give us victory over everything that gets in our way!
      1. Romans 12:2 We must learn how to ignore negative thoughts that try to stop us, renew our minds in prayer and the word of God and think positive.
      2. 1 John 4:4 We need to learn how to overcome and ignore all the reasons why we can’t and focus on the reasons why we can and will do something great for God.
    2. John 16:33 Life will be full of obstacles, distractions, and excuses that want to stop us, but true leadership is learning how to persevere and overcome every excuse that gets in our way! We are called to be unstoppable! #Unstoppable!
