Intro: How old were you when you were saved? Who led you to Christ?

Study

  1. Mark 16:15, Psalms 119:105 In order for us to reach the world, we must correctly understand what the word of God says, so that we can preach the truth of God’s Word to the world.
    1. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 The Bible is the perfect Word of God given to all of humanity, to all cultures, for all time, to all people in every part of the world.
      1. 1 Timothy 4:1-2 Today, there are thousands of religions, and many people believe very different things about God, and about salvation.
      2. Mathew 15:14 Many youth in the world are confused about what beliefs are right and wrong about God, many believe the wrong things about God, and many don’t believe in God at all.
    2. John 8:32, John 17:17 It is important that we discover the truth about exactly who the Bible says God is, the need for salvation, and what the Bible teaches us we need to do to be saved.
  2. 1 Cor 13:14, John 1:29 God is three in one, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Jesus is the third person of the Trinity, the lamb of God sent into the world to die for our sins.
    1. John 14:6 The Bible makes it extremely clear that there are not many ways to God, that there is only one way, one truth, and one life, and his name is Jesus!
      1. Rom 3:23, James 1:15 Because of Adam and Eve’s sin, we are all born into sin, and the consequence of sin is death, an eternity in a literal Hell, separate from God forever.
      2. John 14:2-3, Rev 20:15 Heaven and Hell are real! When we know Jesus, we have a better life in this world, and we go to Heaven for eternity. However, when we do not know Jesus, we have needless problems in this world, and we go to Hell for eternity.
    2. Acts 4:12, Rom 10:9-10 The only way for us to be saved from Hell is to accept Jesus as our Savior! It is essential that we understand and believe what the Bible says about who God is, and his plan of salvation from sin and its consequences, so that we can #Reachtheworld!

Discussion

1. What are some of the various incorrect beliefs many people today have about who God is, and about what it means to be saved?

2. What are some of the many dangers of not believing what the Bible says about who God is, and what the Bible tells us we need to do to be saved?

3. How should we evangelize and share Christ with those who either don’t believe in God, or who have a wrong concept of who God is?

4. Is there anyone you know who either does not believe in God, or who has a wrong idea of who God is? What is your plan to share the Gospel with them?

End: Pray for all who need to accept Jesus as their Savior, pray for those who need more boldness in evangelizing the lost, then take requests.
