Intro:   What was the most difficult subject for you when you were in school?

Study

  1. Isaiah 54:17, John 16:33 To live invincible does not mean that we will not go through  problems in this life, rather it means that God will give us victory over everything we face if we truly follow Him.
    1. Jeremiah 7:23 In order for us to live “Invincible” we must walk in obedience to Christ and avoid living in sin!
      1. John 16:33 We must understand that all of us at some point will face some type of difficulties, problems, and spiritual attacks in this world.
      2. 1 Peter 4:12-13 Often when we are doing Gods will, fulfilling Gods call, and winning  people to Jesus the devil will fight against us to discourage us and try to get us to quit.
    2. Psalms 119:68 If we choose to quit when we face troubles or difficulties, then we will never see the good that God had planned for us.
  2. Galatians 6:9, Hebrews 10:36 However, if we choose to persevere, trust God, and press through the attacks the devil throws at us, then we will see God give us an awesome victory!
    1. Gen 41:38-41 We need to be like Joseph and persevere through the trials so that we can see Gods awesome plans and purposes become reality in our lives.
      1. Romans 8:28 We must remember that God is able to turn every difficulty we face into something good if we remain faithful to God and choose to never quit on what God is calling us to do.
      2. Rev 12:11 God will turn our difficulty into an awesome testimony that we can use to minister to others if we choose to trust God and persevere through the trials.
    2. Isaiah 7:9, James 1:2-4 We need to stand firm, avoid sin, and remain faithful through the problems, difficulties, and attacks the devil throws at us. God will use these attacks to develop in us the character needed to fulfill Gods plan for our lives! #Invincible!

     Discussion

  1. What are some of the most common attacks that the devil will throw against us to try and get us to quit and not finish what God is calling us to do?
  2. Can you share a testimony of a time when the devil attacked you and tried to get you to quit, but you persevered and God gave you an awesome victory?
  3. Why do you think that the devil often attacks us very hard when we are doing Gods will and leading others to Christ?
  4. Is there someone here tonight who is facing some difficulties, or spiritual attacks and the devil is trying to get you to quit? What are you currently going through?

End: Pray for those who are currently facing some problems or spiritual attacks and need strength from God to persevere and not quit.  Pray for any who need to accept Jesus as their Savior, then pray for any requests.
