Avoiding distractions to Prayer

- Eph 6:18, Acts 6:4 In this series we have discussed the importance of developing a strong and consistent prayer life.
- 1 Peter 5:8-9 Most Christians know they need to pray, and desire to have a strong prayer life, but find themselves distracted from prayer.
- Luke 10:38-42 Many times youth and young adults don’t feel they have time to pray due to high school or college classes, and work.
- Col 4:2 Others spend so much time with friends, on Facebook, playing video games, and listening to music, and don’t take time to pray.
- 2 Cor 10:3-5 The devil knows the power of prayer, and he will throw distractions at us to keep us from praying, and make us weak.

- Daniel 6:10-11 We should set a time that is best for us to pray daily, and not allow anything to distract us from our prayer.
- Ps 88:13 We should be willing to wake up earlier, or stay up later, and turn off our phones and computers so we can pray.
- Jer 29:13 A strong life of prayer will help us hear God more clearly, stand stronger against temptation, and receive the anointing to reach the lost!

- Why do you think it can be so difficult to develop a consistent time of prayer and stick with it everyday?
