“ Empowered to Evangelize! “
Intro: What is the longest church service you have ever been a part of? How long did it go ?
Study
- Romans 8:37, John 3:3-5 When we accept Christ we are born again, we are born into a life of salvation and victory found only in Jesus which allows us to conquer everything in our way.
- Philemon 1:6 In order or us to remain on fire for God and continue to grow in our faith we must be active in evangelism and in sharing Jesus with other people.
- Romans 1:16 One of the quickest ways to backslide and fall away from God is when we choose to remain quiet about our faith and when we do nothing for God.
- Matt 25:14-19 God created each of us with specific talents and giftings and God wants us to use the talents we have to reach the lost people around us with the gospel.
- James 2:17, James 2: 26 When we are active in our faith sharing Jesus with others and spending our time doing the work of God, then we will grow as Christians and we will be positioned to conquer everything that the devil throws at us to try and stop us.

- Romans 10:13-15, Jude 1:23 The reason we are here in this world as Christians is to lead as many people as we possibly can to Jesus! This is Gods purpose for us here on earth.
- 2 Tim 1:7 Many youth and young adults give various excuses as to why they aren’t sharing their faith, some say they are afraid, while others don’t think they have the right words to say, and still others think it is someone else’s job to evangelize.
- Mark 13:11, Isaiah 50:4 God promises to lead us, guide us, and give us the right words to speak when we step out in faith and share Jesus with the lost people around us.
- Prov 28:1 Each of us needs to confront our own fears and excuses and step out and boldly share our faith with others, when we confront our fears God will meet us there!
- 1 Cor 12:27, Matt 28:18-20 God created each of us to serve as active members in the body of Christ, when we are active in evangelism we will feel purpose in our lives, but when we are lazy and quiet we will feel empty and weak, lets choose to be active in evangelism so we can be positioned to conquer everything in our way! #Borntoconquer!

- What are some of the greatest excuses that many youth and young adults give for not being active in evangelism and sharing their faith with others?
- Can you share a time when you personally led someone else to Jesus and led them through the sinners prayer? What impact did this have on our life?
- Why is it so important that we as Christians are active in evangelism and in sharing our faith with others?
- Is there someone you know who God has put on your heart to share Christ with? Have you stepped out and shared Jesus with them? If not what is holding you back?
