- James 1:15 When we search to find our identity in the things of the world, sin, wrong relationships, perversion, we are left feeling even more empty and lost.
Discussion
- What are some of the things youth and young adults look to in their search for identity?
- Why do you think people feel empty, incomplete, and confused when they are separate from God?
- Can someone give a personal example of how your search for identity in the things of the world left you disappointed?
- Is there anyone here tonight who feels there is an area of your life you need to surrender to God? If so what area is it?
End: Pray for any who are currently struggling with lost identity, pray for any who need to accept Christ, or rededicate their lives to Christ, then take requests.
