“ Invincible!” Lesson #7

 ” Invincible in our purpose“

Intro:  Do you consider yourself more of a late night person or early morning person and why?

Study

  1. Isaiah 54:17, John 16:33 The Bible tells us that we can live an invincible Christian life! To live invincible does not mean that we will not go through problems in this life, rather it means that God will give us victory over everything we face if we truly follow Him.
    1. Jeremiah 7:23 In order for us to live “Invincible” we must walk in obedience to Christ and avoid living in sin!
      1. Jeremiah 29:11-13 God has an awesome plan and purpose for everyone of us! When we accept Jesus, God will begin to show us the specific call He has for our lives!
      2. 1 Cor 12:12-18 God has given everyone of us talents and abilities that He wants us to use to fulfill the call that He has for each of our lives.
    2. Mark 16:15-18 Our purpose is to win as many people to Jesus as we possibly can through the talents and abilities God has given us! This is the call of God on our lives!
  2. 1 Peter 5:8-9, Gal 5:7-8 We must understand that the devil will throw many things at us to keep us from discovering our call and fulfilling Gods purpose for our lives here in this world!
    1. 1 Cor 15:57-58 The good news is that when we truly follow God, the Holy Spirit will empower us to overcome everything the devil will throw at us to try and stop us!
      1. 2 Tim 4:18  The Holy Spirit will also anoint us to accomplish awesome things that we could never do on our own, and will protect us from every attack of the devil!
      2. Mark 13:11 The Holy Spirit will also give us the right words when we go out to evangelize and preach the Word of God, will anoint us to lead people through the sinners prayer, and will empower us to pray for and minister to others!
    2. Eph 2:10, 1 John 2:20 The Holy Spirit wants to anoint and empower everyone of us to be invincible and victorious in our purpose! We must walk in obedience to Christ and avoid living in sin so that we can live invincible!   #Invincible

Discussion

  1. What do you think God is calling you to do with your life? In what ways do you think you will be able to win people to Jesus in the career you believe that God is calling you into?
  2. What are some of the many distractions that we need to avoid that the devil will use to distract us from discovering and fulfilling Gods purpose for our lives?
  3. What are some steps the Bible gives us that we need to take in order to overcome all of the attacks of the devil,  live invincible in this world, and be victorious in fulfilling Gods call!
  4. What are some things in your life personally that are blocking you from fulfilling God’s call on your life? Are you ready to surrender those things to God and step out in faith to fulfill the call of God on our life?

End: Pray for those who want to be empowered by the Holy Spirit to fulfill Gods call on their lives.  Pray for any who need to repent of sin that is blocking them from fulfilling Gods purposes for their lives, then pray for any requests.
