No Apathy
Intro: What is the most boring thing that you were ever forced to do?

- Heb 6:12, 1 Pet 5:8 The devil wants nothing more than to stop Christians from being on fire for God, winning souls to Christ, and being passionate about ministry.
- Mt 25:26-30 If the devil can’t get you to fall back into sin and temptation, he will try to get you to become apathetic, uncommitted, and lazy in your Christian walk.
- Luke 7:37-39 Many people, when they first get saved, are exited about Christ passionate about evangelism, and serve in the ministry any way they can.
- Luke 22:39-46 As time goes on, many people loose their passion, the fire of God fades, apathy sets in, and they just don’t care that much any more.
- Heb 10:35-36 It is much easier to be apathetic, and lazy about the things of God then to be passionate, and on fire, because remaining on fire for God takes work.

- 2 Cor 6:4-7 Many people in the church today grow discouraged or apathetic when they face difficulties, struggles, or persecution.
- Lev 6:12-13, Mt 16:24-26 In order to “Keep the fire burning” we must fight against apathy, laziness, compromise, and lack of commitment.

- What are some of the classic signs of someone who has lost the fire of God, and has become apathetic?
- What are some things that we should all do in our Christian walk that will keep us from becoming apathetic? How can we fight against apathy?
- Have you ever personally struggled with being apathetic? Is anyone here tonight currently dealing with apathy in your life, and in what ways?
