Intro: What is the greatest excuse you have ever heard?

- Heb 5:11-14 God has called each of us to grow and lead in the kingdom of God, some people however have many excuses,and reasons why they dont want to obey God.
- Eph 4:11-13 Leadership is how we as Christians mature in God personally, and how we win others to Christ, this is why the devil wants to keep us from leadership.
- 2 Sam 11:1-5 The quickest way for you to backslide is to be inactive, to stay back when you should be active serving God.
- 1 Cor 12:27 Although each of our individual calls in leadership will be different and at different levels, God is calling this generation to be leaders.
- Exodus 3:10, Matt 28:18 God gave moses the same command he gives us today, the command to Go. Moses four excuses are much like excuses we give today.

- Exodus 3:11 The 1st excuse was “Who am I?” Many youth dont feel qualified, or even good enough to be leaders, Ex 3:12 God promises “I will be with you”.
- Ex 3:13 The 2nd excuse was “What if they ask me difficult questions” God never called us to have all the answers, but to preach the gospel 1 Cor 1:17.
- Ex 4:1 The 3rd excuse was “What if no one will follow me?” God reminds us to just do our part and watch God move Ex 4:2-3, Zech 4:6, 1 Cor 2:4-5.
- Ex 4:10-11, 13 the 4th excuse was “Im not a good speaker, someone else should do it” to this God promises to give us the words Mark 13:11, Isaiah 50:4
- Ex 4:12, Isaiah 6:8 There are many more excuses we give God today, but whatever the excuse Gods responce and call is the same “Go”.

- What do you think are some of the most common excuses many youth and young adults give today to avoid Gods call to become leaders?
- In what ways have you personally grown in God as a result of your obedience to what he has called you to do?
- What are some new steps of faith and levels of leadership you beleive God is calling you to step up into?
