“ Fear of trusting God! ”
Intro: What is something you used to be scared to do that you now have no fear of ?
Study
- Isaiah 43:1-2, Phil 4:13 It is not Gods will for us as Christians to be afraid, or to be controlled by fear, God is calling us to be unstoppable!
- Psalms 56:3-4 There are many youth and young adults who are afraid to let go of their will and trust Gods will and plan for their lives.
- 2 Cor 6:17 Many youth who are afraid to let go of wrong friendships and dating relationships struggle to trust that God knows whats best for them.
- Phil 4:19 There are others who are afraid to trust that God will provide the perfect person in his time so they grow impatient and enter into wrong relationships.
- Romans 10:13-15 There are many who know that God wants them to share Christ with others in their schools or neighborhoods but who are afraid to step out and trust God.
- Psalms 56:3-4 There are many youth and young adults who are afraid to let go of their will and trust Gods will and plan for their lives.
- Prov 3:5-6, Prov 16:9 God is calling us to trust him completely in our relationships, our decisions and the direction of our lives!
- 2 Cor 5:7, Heb 11:1 The Christian walk is to be a complete walk of faith and trust in God, we need to surrender our will, our plans, our lives and trust in God.
- Isaiah 55:8 God will lead us to do things and take steps that don’t make sense in our natural minds, but we need to trust that he knows whats best for us!
- Deut 30:19 If we ignore the voice of God and go our own way we will have endless problems, but if we surrender our will to God and trust him, he will bless our lives!
- Jer 29:11-13, Ps 56:11 We need to confront any fear of trusting God we may have by taking steps to end all wrong relationships, share Christ with those around us, surrender our will to him, and trust his plan for our lives! #Unstoppable!

- What are some of the reasons you feel many youth and young adults struggle to let go of their will and trust Gods will and plan for their lives?
- What are some examples of problems you have had in your life when you rejected Gods will and went your own way?
- Are there some areas in your life right now where you are personally struggling to let go and trust God? If so what are the areas you are struggling to trust God in?
- What is something you feel God is calling you to do right now that you have been afraid to step out and do?
