“ God has a purpose for your life! “

 

Intro: What were or are your most and least favorite subjects in school ?

Study

  1.  Jer 29:11-13, Psalms 139:13-16 God has created everyone of us with specific gifts, talents and abilities and has a specific purpose he wants us to fulfill here on the earth.
    1. John 8:44 The devil has deceived many youth and young adults in the world into thinking they have no purpose and their life doesn’t matter!
      1. 1 Peter 5:8-9 The devil will throw everything he can at us to keep us from discovering what Gods purpose for us is!
      2. 1 Pet 2:25 When we don’t see that we have a purpose then we can become discouraged, depressed, confused and easily pulled into the traps of the devil.
    2. 1 Cor 6:9-11 Many youth and young adults are lost in sin, addictions, and wrong relationships because they don’t know God or his purpose for their lives.
  2. Esther 4:14 We are not here in this world by accident, God as placed each of us in the exact place he wants us to be at this exact time in history, because he has a plan for our lives and theres something he wants us to do!
    1. Psalms 1:1-3 When we begin to discover what Gods purpose for our lives is then we find great peace, joy, satisfaction, and fulfillment!
      1. Prov 13:20 When we decide to follow Gods purpose for our lives then we will also find good relationships with strong Christians that will build us up in our faith.
      2. Phil 4:19 When we follow Gods will and purpose for our lives then we will also see Gods hand of provision. God will come through for us!
    2. Rev 3:20, Prov 3:5-6 We must understand that God has an incredible purpose for each of our lives, and he is inviting us to follow him and discover what it is! #Unstoppable!

  2. What are some of the many things that can distract us, and block us from discovering Gods will for our lives?
  3. What are some of the many problems that arise if we choose to reject Gods purpose and plan for our lives?
  4. What are some of the many blessings that come about personally if we choose to follow Gods purpose for our lives?
