“Preach the truth to the world”

Intro: If you could visit any country in the world, where would you go and why?

Study

  1. Mark 16:15, Psalms 119:105 In order for us to reach the world, we must correctly understand what the Word of God says, so that we can preach the truth of God’s Word to the world.
    1. 2 Tim 4:1-2 God is calling us to preach the truth of the Bible to the world, so the world can find freedom and salvation in Christ!
      1. John 17:17 The Bible is our truth, our absolute, our only standard for what is right and wrong. It is final, and it is not open for debate!
      2. John 8:32, John 14:6 Only when you know and follow the truth of God’s Word can you find freedom and salvation! Jesus is the only way, truth, and He is the life!
    2. Proverbs 3:1-2 When we obey and follow the standards God has given us in the Bible, our lives will be blessed, and we will go to Heaven for eternity. However, when we disobey, distort, or deny Gods Word, then we will have major problems in our lives and we will go to Hell for eternity.
  2. John 13:34, James 1:22 Jesus tells us that we are to love one another, today many people think that they are loving others by accepting and celebrating the sin and perversion that is destroying their lives.
    1. Ezekiel 18:32, James 1:15 However, if we truly love people as Jesus commanded, then we will love them enough to tell them the truth about the sin that is destroying their lives, rather than remain silent and watch their lives collapse and let them go to hell!
      1. Eph 4:15 We as Christians CANNOT celebrate the sin and perversion that is destroying people’s lives and sending them to hell! We must speak the truth of God’s Word to the world, so they can find freedom in Christ.
      2. Ezekiel 3:18-19, 2 Cor 6:17 We must challenge this generation to stay far away from the sin and perversion that is completely destroying the world! It is our responsibility to warn this generation of the horrible consequences of sin and call them to repent of their sin and accept Christ.
    2. 2 Cor 5:20, Acts 3:19 God is calling us to boldly preach the truth of God’s Word to the world, so the world can find freedom and salvation in Christ! We are called to #Reachtheworld.

  1. Why do you think so many people today are afraid to stand against the sin and perversion that is destroying people’s lives all around us?
  2. Why is it so important that we love the people around us enough to tell them the truth about the sin that will send them to Hell and encourage them to repent of their sin and accept Christ?
  3. What are some ways we can boldly preach the truth of God’s Word to the lost around us and challenge them to repent of their sin and
  4. Is there anyone you know who is blinded by sin and perversion? What is your plan to evangelize them and challenge them to repent of their sin and accept Christ?

End: Pray for those who want to be bold and fearless in preaching the truth to the world, pray for any who need to accept Jesus as their Savior, lead them through the sinner’s prayer, then take requests.
